David Hourin

David Hourin played football at Williams College — the #1 ranked liberal arts college in America — after attending Harvard's football recruit camp as a Texas high school player. He spent the summer after graduation touring Ivy League recruit camps with the Williams coaching staff, collecting data on exactly what top academic programs require from recruited athletes. He took that research and built Scholar Athlete College Recruiting to help young athletes across Texas and California access opportunities they didn't know existed. Today he is a front office employee of the Los Angeles Dodgers. His talks give student-athletes and their families a concrete, actionable roadmap to using their sport as a vehicle into America's best colleges.

The guide busts myths about recruiting and college athletics. Readers will learn about colleges, camps, and connections to opportunities they may not have known are available to them. No matter where you are in the recruiting process, this helpful tool will provide students and parents with mindset shifts and behavioral commitments that they can put into action right away. At the end, readers will come away with a better understanding of the steps they can take to achieve admission to an esteemed higher education institution with an offer to play NCAA athletics.
